I found the GM experience to be extremely rewarding. Seeing the students discover and get excited about different medical fields, and come to me for advice made me feel like an important part of their journey. Caleen GM 2018

Serving as a GM allowed me to gain valuable experience leading a group of students and providing mentorship. I was also able to improve upon my communication and public speaking skills, and the professional relationships I built has been extremely helpful in providing additional opportunities. Cassandra GM 2018

I think that being a GM not only gives you the tools to be confident in your role as a leader, but also the necessary means to begin networking with healthcare professionals and continue in your professional development. Paola GM 2018 & 2019

SMA Group Mentor was very positive experience for myself. It gave me an opportunity to work with students that interested in health career. I see the younger version of myself through them. Hung GM 2015
