About Bridge to Employment San Diego

20150926_111915Bridge to Employment is a partner program with Johnson & Johnson, an initiative to inspire young people ages 14-18 from disadvantaged communities to stay in school, excel academically and elevate their career aspirations.

Rady Children’s Hospital is proud to partner with Johnson & Johnson as the San Diego operating company of the Bridge to Employment program. Our goal is to help young people build solid futures and to increase the number of students who enroll in higher education and the number of students who are interested in pursuing health careers.

Through a variety of academic enrichment activities, programs to improve career readiness and opportunities to explore health careers, our Bridge to Employment program helps prepare our students for higher education and inspire them to pursue various health careers. We believe all students should have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, reach their full potential and have a better future.

Our Bridge to Employment partnership includes Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Hoover High School and UC San Diego, San Diego State University and local community colleges.
